Enrolling Study Volunteers

We are enrolling Study volunteers of all ages to participate in research studies for different investigation treatments.


Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)


Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common lung disease. Having COPD makes it hard to breathe.
There are two main forms of COPD: Chronic bronchitis, which involves a long-term cough with mucus and Emphysema, which involves damage to the lungs over time, Most people with COPD have a combination of both conditions



You may qualify if you are:
A clinical diagnosis of COPD
Adult over 18 years of age


Osteoporosis


Osteoporosis is a disease that thins and weakens the bones. Your bones become fragile and break easily, especially the bones in the hip, spine, and wrist. In the United States, millions of people either already have osteoporosis or are at high risk due to low bone mass.


You may qualify if you are:
Postmenopausal women or males 50 years of age and older
Patient taking oral risedronate or alendronate for 5 years or more
Patient willing to initiate a holiday from the medication


Clostridium difficile


Clostridium difficile (C. difficile) is a bacterium that causes diarrhea and more serious intestinal conditions such as colitis. Symptoms include
Watery diarrhea (at least three bowel movements per day for two or more days)
Fever
Loss of appetite
Nausea
Abdominal pain or tenderness


You may qualify if you are:
Male or female between 18 and 80 years of age
Diagnosis of Clostridium difficile

Alzheimer's Disease


Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia among older people. Dementia is a brain disorder that seriously affects a person's ability to carry out daily activities.

AD begins slowly. It first involves the parts of the brain that control thought, memory and language. People with AD may have trouble remembering things that happened recently or names of people they know. A related problem, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), causes more memory problems than normal for people of the same age. Many, but not all, people with MCI will develop AD.


You may qualify if you are:
Male and Female 50 to 90 years of age.
Patients with moderate/severe agitation
Diagnosis of probably Alzheimer's Disease

Overactive bladder


Overactive bladder is a condition in which the bladder squeezes urine out at the wrong time. You may have overactive bladder if you have two or more of these symptoms:
You urinate eight or more times a day or two or more times at night
You have the sudden, strong need to urinate immediately
You leak urine after a sudden, strong urge to urinate


You may qualify if you are:
Male and females 18 to 80 years of age
